Very nice Cherry. I'm always amazed by your collection. I've got to start building me some straight wing jets. I see Hobbyboss has a line of F-80s. I might have to look into them. I've noticed your decal work always comes out looking perfect. Got any tips for us decal impaired folks?

Always the same work, surfacer or primer, then polishing to 4500 and than Chrome Model Master, if nessesary mix chrome and black for shading the panels, Mr. Metal Primer as sealing for chrome or Revell flat coat for used look..
Lyle do not any shreddering of models!
nathen, normaly i use Mr. setter or softer, but it is not availeble at the moment so I use Revell softer for the Decals, it helps.

Ah yes, the classic jet of the late 40s! We can never have too many of those on here.

There's been a lot of popularity of the Shooting Star as of late. I don't know how I managed to miss this thread.
