1:48 Curtiss P6E Hawk

and one more of the old kits,the P6E , the kit is simple detailed, the fuselage and the wings are good, the cockpit is poor detaildm but with some belts and a little improvement it is ok, you see not much in the finished model

I always loved the talons painted on the wheel spats on those planes! She looks real good to my eye. Which kit is this? Lindberg?

thanks Stik, yes it is the Lindberg, old but build is a nice kit on the shelf

Another fine example if it being the modeler and not the kit or its base origin that determines the final results.

Lindberg kits had motors in 'em 40 years ago. :giggles:

Looks really, really nice !
Might just start a run on 'em if those photos are posted again before a major swap meet.

Are those the kit decals?

thanks to all.

the decals are from the box, on the radius of gear and engine you should paint, but the stripes are realy good.
