Thanks to a friend of mine, I’m now the proud (?) owner of a Grand Phoenix 1/48 FJ-3B Fury – woohoo!
However I’ve heard this kit is a bit challenging in the fit department but hey I'll give it a go - the fit can't be as bad as some of the old Airfix kits I like to build.
I’ve had a bit of experience with resin, PE etc. but I’ve never built a short run, mixed media kit, which leads me to ask if anyone had any advice on working with this type of kit? (or this actual kit).
Any pitfalls I should know about?
Cheers

some tips, ok, build it slow, dry fit all parts, clean the parts before building (often grease from the injection tools),use Mr. Metal Primer for befor painting for PE and Resin parts.
..and try it, it is different building, but it is posible to build great kits.

I think he has built most kits produced elsewhere, too.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
