My recent wingy thing

I posted my most recent completed armour builds last night, so figured I should post my aircraft as well. last year saw me build only 2 aircraft, but then I started off this year with 2 more. All in 72nd, well, what else would they be.

last year saw me finally make a dent in my Dragon Do 335 kits, with the B-4 recon version.

And this was swiftly followed by my favourite aircraft, the Ju 87. I decided to go for a version not often seen, so I built the Special Hobby Ju 87A-2.

And this year started off with 2 unusual subjects, modern USAF jets, I haven't done any of these in a few years.

First, hasegawa F-16D

And my most recent completion, Italeri F-111A.

Those are spectacular! The bases do set them apart nicely.

Thanks guys.

Owl, all my 72nd aircraft and 35th armour are built as dio's, so yes they get bases. When I finally get round to some 32nd aircraft, I also plan on adding bases to those, but not dio bases.

Jim, along with the A-10, the F-111 is my favourite modern aircraft. Both types were often in the sky's above Norwich, where I grew up, during the 80's, so I have found memories of both.

This was the first time I have done the German pre war scheme and I rather like it. I have been eyeing up the new Airfix He 111 which comes with one aircraft in that scheme. I think it would look nice on that big wing, so I plan to add that to the stash soon.

That's a nice diverse batch there Bish! Old and new, with a touch of "what could have been". :hmm: And all very sharp looking :shoutout:

Now I bet that would be nice, had not thought of that. I decided to get the 32nd H-6 rather than the P kit, but this could be a good excuse for both.
