1/72 Supermarine Swift FR.5
Re: 1/72 Supermarine Swift FR.5
Nice work and a good save. Death to fiddly bits and stencils. Silly me, never thought to place the stencils on prior to assembly. Duh.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thank goodness yuo amanged to save it as this is a nice build - would hate to see it not finished!

Yep, it was nothing that couldn't be dealt with, it just needed a time-out in the corner. Summer also realllly limits my bench time, so I'm really just getting back into the groove.

Great safe Vance. I hate those setbacks near the finish line.

Wow---I'm actually thinking of buying this kit now...usually when you build it dissuades me from a kit, but this time is different...

Well, she's on her feet:
Still need to add the nose gear door, clear part to the nose (light? or camera??), landing flaps. Should be wrapped up this evening, assuming I can concentrate on the baseball game as well as the bench, without endangering myself or the model.

almost to the finish line!!
Every take-off has a landing...some are just better than others

Very nice - and the clear part is a camera bay yes.
