Just had a really good laugh.
Re: Just had a really good laugh.
Phil, that is the way to do it. I try to make it better than the last one and not as good as the next one. This thread exemplifies what makes SPAM such a great place.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Doc, they did leave out a very important part of the answer, though.
You need to buy the special Plywood Rivet Tool.
This will help you out immensely in your efforts to replicate riveted plywood on a plastic model.
I have included a photo for you convenience in your search for the tool.
Please note that you HAVE to use a ball peen hammer, because no other hammer can duplicate the divets for the rivets correctly.

The thread is ok....I'll just nuke a few posts. I hope no one is offended. I deleted the stuff that pointed back to the other forum. This topic is "spot on" for what a good discussion should be.

Couldn't have said it better. That's exactly my stance on the subject.Tojo72 wrote:Great thread Jim and lots of great reponses.I guess I try my best to be accurate, but I don't beat myself up over any of my shortcomings.I appreciate any and all comments and criticism about a build I post.I'm not just looking for attaboys. If the suggestions suit my modeling abilities,I will try either on that build or keep it in in for the future and improve myself. No offense will be taken by me.
