I built this as a "What If?" in Mexican Air Force colors using Aztec Decals. Armament came from my spares bin based off of photos of MAF F-5Es. The only changes that I made to the kit itself was opening up the scoop at the base of the tail fin, adding a blade antenna to the fuselage spine, modifying one of the kit pitots into an AoA sensor, and adding a little detail into the inner surfaces of the afterburner.

Thank you Medic. It is a case of either making of the prototype schemes, or a "what if" build. If you base it off of one of the various F-5A/F-5E user schemes you can really have a wide latitude.

I was definately going to do a "What-If" on mine.

If the F-20 had succeeded, a Mexican Air Force Tigershark would have looked just like this one.
The best what-if's are those that come along so plausibly and coherently. Great job, stik.

Erik, I did try to base this as factually as I could on MAF F-5Es, and I am glad to hear that you like the way that I pulled it off.

Shark, I used Humbrol Satin for the top coat. I love the finish that it gives.

I don't think I ever saw that one finished from the GB. Neat build and certainly your usual quality.
