Apparently my Milliput was bad. The "canvas" cover did not harden. So I made a new one with superglue filled with talcum and baking soda.

And I painted the cockpit. A simple brush paint, grey first with a flat brush. Then details with a 000 and 10x0. Paints used are Humbrol and GamesWorkshop

That looks really nice borg - you've done a good job of picking out the detail in that cockpit and the stuff you added really helps inprove the look.

Nice, Borg. I am going have to get me one of those guys. Really like the lines of it.

Yeah, the Mig-3 is one sweetheart of a bird. I've got one in my stash - Zvezda too.

I love the mig-3, I have two more HB kits and the RPM.

The encore/Revell/zvesda/italeri/cap croix Sud kit is abundant but not that good. It has some severe shape issues. Especially the nose is very narrow, an engine would not fit.

A last minute addition, the inert gas puppies the late series MiG-3 had.

I made it with some copper wire and a piece of self adhesive aluminium foil

I am planning on airbrushing next weekend, maybe earlier.
