Man I'd love to go up there. Right now it aint a question of time....but money.

not this year, but my club put in a bid for 2017....

Well it's too far east for me to afford to travel. And I did have hopes for Las Vegas which had put in a bid for 2017 as well. But one of the folks I know who is "in the know" with IPMS says that bid has been pretty much shot down by the current regime at IPMS/USA. So IF it ever comes out to the South West USA again, maybe.

Yeah, that's what flabbergasted us about hearing the negative reaction to Vegas. It's not like there is nothing to do there if you're not at the convention. I mean where else can you go shoot a SAW & MP-5, see a show, have some fun of any sort, and go do the convention as well... I heard that Phoenix was bidding too, but seriously if the powers that be in the organization want to continue to play favorites....

I had it on the "maybe" list,,,,,,,but, then we "caught a wedding" in Wisconsin in August.

We had decided that we wanted to keep it down to only 2 long trips a year, and we already went on one, so, Nats in July got bumped out.

Next year, when it moves from the Midwest back to the East, though,,,,,yeah, we are going to South Carolina. Funny, for us, it is in two different sections, but, the "East" one is a bit farther from us than the "Middle" one is.

I wanted to go to Columbus again, we had a blast at the last two Nats we went to, Virginia and Columbus.

Time adds up if you put it off, though, '08 and '09 were our last two Nats,,,,,,,,life keeps happening.
