The SVA5 was a italian build fighter, but depending to the power and performance it was used for recce and scout functions, was not the best airplane but they build it to 1928 and exported it to poland, russia, america and some other nations.

The Smer kit is poor detailed, as normal for Smer, the fit is good and the decals are excelent for italian and Army Air Corps, I used Eduard tire and Eduard pilot figure.

The plane looks like a italian wooden motor boat for film stars...love the look.

here a link to a inbox review to see what this kit is like: http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http ... 9yCh3ODw8T

I think that SMER kit is actually an old 1/50 Artiplast kit. Very old, very basic. You made a nice model out of it.

Beautiful!...especially your woodwork. I inherited a box full of SMER biplanes and looking at those parts makes this build all the more impressive...
