testors kit built many moons ago. my second favorite aircraft .
was carefully packed away in a box about 15 years ago along with my built and unbuilt kits during the first of several moves.
it was rediscovered last summer by myself and my seven year old granddaughter kayla when the aircraft bug started to hit again and we decided to check out the storage bin. when kayla saw it she immediately confiscated the blackbird. I told her it was called habu. her being quite the tomboy and she likes snakes placed it in her room where she proudly displays it. it's a kick when someone comes over and she takes them in to see habu . kayla has a natural ability for painting and drawing and likes aircraft . she has built four so far. she also provided the inspiration to start building aircraft again.

It's good that your grandaughter has an interest - It's nice to see youngsters enjoying the hobby as well as us old crustys...
