The engine is a real masterpiece, Michel. Not that the rest of the Falke looks bad against it but all that wiring and the metallic look is what it sells for me.

Just after finishing detailing and painting the engine, I found out about a source for details I'd been completely unaware of: railroad accessories. By playing with scales you can get all kinds of piping connectors, switches, etc., that would have come in very handy here. Oh, well... learning something new every day, I guess.

I made a (temporary) display base by photoshoping some military symbols and stuff onto a desert map ripped off Google and gluing it onto an MDF job from the LHS.
