Thank you all!
The sandbags are DAS air dry clay. I rolled it out thin, flattened it, then cut off each individual bag. When I was happy with it, I brushed thinned out white glue on and around them.

Here's a little bit more. Almost there now.
Camo is hand painted in MM Acryl colors. I hand lettered the name in Vallejo acrylic. This was a real tank in "B" Co, 4th Tank Battalion.

Well, that´s interesting. Aside from a great job in this too small scale (for me...) I never before have seen a Sherman in more than one colour.
Did the spare tracks on the turret come with the kit?
