Desert StuG III F8

This is a representation of a StuG III F8 from the Hermann Goering Division in North Africa late 1942, early 1943. Many more of these show up in Italy and Russia painted in tropen colors after the fall of Panzer Armee Afrika.

You are forum's Wüstenfuchs for sure, G! It looks dusty and used but not completely rotten. I like that. And to be honest: German hardware did not get that old those days...

Is that the base of a custom-made acrylic cabinet? I use similar ones for my builds:

Mostrich that's just a regular clear plastic case I bought at the local Hobby Lobby. Think of it as a giant craft supermarket.

I used DAS clay for the base.
