Hi all,

As Kari pointed out, I didn't post any pic's of the Wildcat I built earlier in the year - so here you go! FROG 1/72 Wildcat, brush painted with Humbrol Acrylic and Enamels, weathered with Humbrol powders and an Artists brush pen.

Taken with the same settings as my Panther build test shot - I'd like to think I'll be able to improve on these shots - I just need more practice and need to get the equipment shorted out.

Cheers

Stuart

Great !

That is Stuart really a very nice build of the Wildcat!
And the paintwork is really excellent, proper weathering etc.

What paints to you actually use?

Very nice all in all, happy you posted pics of it!

Thanks Gents - it's not bad for an old bagged FROG kit.

Kari - Thanks for reminding me! - the paints were (I think) Humbrol 129 US Gull Grey Acrylic and Humbrol 164 (need to check) Intermediate Blue. The panels were done with a Dark Grey Artists Brush Pen.

Cheers!

Nice Wildcat, Portman. Have you considered using a larger piece of paper for your backdrop, perhaps an A3-size carton? I found that it helps elimimate the borderline running though the image and helps improve the overall look too.

Hi Monty,

Yeah it's not great is it - An A3 bit of card would be good but my photo kit is a bit ad-hoc at present - Thanks for the tip
