Just as a teaser what´s been worked on on the bench (among so many other stuff...) I want to share a few pics of this one. I got a fan of the Discovery series "Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan" the last months, shown on German TV also.

Just a few in progress shots. Not to much to say, only that most parts needed to more or less sand mould lines or a little bit of flash. Nothing too serious.
The parts in this box below are going to get hidden forever when the armoured floor gets glued on. Could have saved some sanding, but well...

The exhaust got drilled open. It´s very visible later.
Ran into some fit issues here (orange arrow). All parts so far had a positive fit, so I don´t know why this gap appeared. Will get some wax spatula treatment later.

Interesting!
Your build looks so clinically clean, so properly made!
If my build, we would see some "stains" of glue, some greasy fingerprints, some hair and dust etc.

Arent fingerprints. glue stains etc. the main reason why modellers give them models a dirty look? Great work so far Thomas.

Ironic you should mention that. While building my Eduard Me109, I had been smoothing putty, on the top fuselage seam, with a bit of acetone on a Q-Tip. A friend asked for a picture of how it turned out, so I took one.
He said it looked good, but asked about the "seam detail" on the side near the radio door.
Apparently, some of the acetone, (unbeknownst to me), had run down the side, under my thumb and had created an FBI textbook perfect print lightly melted into the plastic! I hadn't noticed it, but the camera close up sure did.
Of course, a bit of sanding, and the evidence of my crime had disappeared.
