the first 'spit in my collection, this was a 1/72 scale FROG kit I built back in 2010; It was lost in the great Shelving Disaster of 2011... handpainted and built in a weekend

also from 2011, my next 1/72 spitfire, a Mk. IX, was the old mold from Airfix. I gave it a basic cockpit and pilot, and marked it as an American spitfire. Handpainted with my usuall Testors enamels

Spitfire Mk. II, from Revell in 2011. This time in 1/48 scale and airbrushed with MM Acrylics

a couple years later, I added Airfix's fantastic new-mold Spitfire Mk.XIV, in 1/48 scale. Way better than the previous airfix spitfire, also much better than the Revell offering. Enamel rattle-cans, built in 2013...

That's bunch of totally different Spits

Cool that Frog set with the V-1 and the stand! Never seen that before!

Nice weathering in your Mk. II and really good looking XIV !

Perhaps your next Spitfire would be Eduards version ?

You can never have too many Spitfires! And those are all awesome.

I currently have...um... 6 built and two more planned next year for a GB.
