Thought I'd give an Eduard kit another shot. This one has included the masks and a "fitted" nose weight.

Thanks. The 39 is not my favorite, but one that I like because of its non-normal setup. In typical Eduard fashion, microscopic plastic pars to be cut loose and glued into very tiny locations. . . sigh.

Is that one of Eduard's older P-39 kits? I used to build the old Monogram P-39 kits back in my teen years. That was a fun build back then.

I am curious about the "fitted" nose weight you say is included. I didn't see it on any of the pics you posted.

There is no dates to be found, except on the decal sheet - copyrighted 2001. The kit # is 8063.

The weight is a shaped, piece of lead.....

Cool bird Lyle I think you will enjoy an Eduard kit vs some of the ill fitting ones you have been working on recently Watching!

I think to remember having an Eduard P-39 in the stash... In my opinion a thousand miles ahead of the Monogram offering.
Very nice and some times very small (hi Lyle!) plastic parts, masks and plenty of good decals! You will have fun with this one, mate! :beau:

Have the new Dual Combo rebox in my stash and what I've heard it's a good fitting and easy to build kit.

Have fun, young man!
