Argentinean markings, right? The light blue along with the worn out sand and green camo looks pretty cool!

Actually Mostrich, these are the Nationalist Chinese markings on Flying Tigers P-40's in WWII. Looking fantastic!
I wish I could just "wrap up" something like this and have it look this great!

Flying Tigers were always familiar on P-40s. Even Pappy Boyington flew with the Flying Tigers before he was famous flying Corsairs with the Black Sheep Squadron.

They didn't. American pilots under General Claire Chennault flew these birds as the American Volunteer Group before the US ever got involved in the war. These American volunteers were discharged from the Army Air Forces and sent over there where they were paid $200.00 (I believe?) for every Japanese aircraft that they shot down. Later on when they US entered the war, they were re-absorbed into the Army Air Forces as the 21st Fighter Group if my fuzzy memory serves.
