Hot off the bench!

Being a Swede...I marked it with the Swedish option. Finished with MM Metalizers and enamels. Mostly OOB, just a bit added to the seat...and a full rivet job.

Saw they that kit in various online hobby stores when it first came out. Sometimes those fatty type of jets do tend grow on you to get one.

Mighty nice Fermis! I love the finish; what did you use for the riveting?

Thanks dudes!

Fit was no problem at all...other than the right flap, which just needed a bit of trimming along the edge.
The only drawback to the kit is the seat (basic and kinda cluncky), and there was no shell ejection chutes.
I added basic belt and ejection pull ring to the seat, and carved out the chutes with a chisel I made from a needle.

I used a rivet tool I picked up at Nats, last summer. I do not recall what brand. The vendor had a bunch of em in bins. He had a couple few different sizes. I grabbed two sizes.

These are WAY better than the Trumpeter riveter that I have. Much easier to control and see what you're doing.

Thanks for the info!

Agree, I have the Trumpeter riveting tool and as you say, you don't really see anything you do, as the "head" is so big and clumsy and all the time in the way...
