Some night ago , after received two Esci F1 i decided to try a test fitting of the hasegawa version with a revell box but something goes wrong and i started the kit withouth become aware of that
I know.. no propellers or rotors on this one

Shapes.. i love shapes of this "modern" aircraft of of my favourite between jets.. unfortunately the kit comes with raised panels (at opposite of Esci kits ) but shapes seems better with this one .. dunno about airfix and heller F1 kits .

The guilty of starting game, the fuel tank, glued up too fast



I see the air intake was close too soon, so i opened them



And put two bended plastic stripes for air conduit







An IP and filled side rear bulkhead

and i performed the test fitting too

I totally agree Stik - the F.1 is the best of the bunch (and they are all nice looking jets).

This is looking great so far. I'm a bit more partial to the Mirage 2000; nice sexy curves on that one. Still, this is a very attractive aircraft and I've done at least five so far.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Yesterday finally more about the mirage

More pieces comes from spare parts of special hobby kit, a new IP and a good ejection seat

To fit the new seat some surgery was needed



removed partially the upper IP cover on the kit, also thinned the fuselage parts

Great to see this back on the bench - That's a good looking cockpit.

A jet!! And a Mirage F1 at that!!!
