Academy 1/35 M12 155mm Gun Motor Carriage

Well to continue with the task of populating the armor forum here, I will share this build. Academy's very nice kit of the M12 155mm GMC. I ended up having to replace part of the kit pulley parts with brass rod, becuase the kit parts kept braking. Stowage came from various sources in my spares bin. It has a very nice interior to the drivers compartment, but since I built that buttoned up in the end, you cannot see the work in there.

Lol! Thanks buddy! But I know how to do dirt even better now! You should see the real one in the photo that I based it off of... Muddy filthy!!! :o

Lol! Yeah the M12 does have its' own charm about it... Academy did a pretty good job on the kit!

They've been pretty impressive lately with their armor. Almost like they sacrificed the quality of their aircraft for armor. Weird how that works. I'm just glad I chose to do a crew for an M7 and NOT an M12! :shock:
