Createx Airbrush Thinner

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I decided to make a side trip to a local Hobby Lobby. While browsing in the model kit section (pathetic, I know) and the model paint section (even worse), I saw they had Createx Airbrush Thinner. I can't remember whether it was here or elsewhere that Createx can be used to thin other brand of acrylics - particularly Vallejo Model Color(?). Maybe it was Tamiya. I don't remember.

Has anyone used Createx Airbrush Thinner besides for use with Createx paints?

I am sorry, I never touched this one. I tend to use the generic thinner for my paints, except for "Ultimate Airbrush Thinner", made by www.umpretail.com

Thomas, this http://www.umpretail.com/products/ultim ... sh-thinner is why I said you probably needn't bother with the new thinner I got the other day.

It is good to see that you can get Stynlrez over there now, too. (your link took us to that)

I use the Createx airbrush cleaner but not the thinner. When it comes to thinners I use the same brand as the paints I use.

Oh that Badger primer is the BEST EVER!!!! I got three (black, white and grey) and I love it!!!!

If you go look at my Rafale WIP thread, I used it for the first time there. You have to shoot it at a high PSI or it'll dry at the tip real fast.
