The Po-2 was the standard russion trainer in the 1930 and some years till end of WW2, some have special job, light bomber, sometimes as night bomber without special equipment only with wide open eyes! The russion way!

this is the ICM model, good and easy to build, no problems with the decals, good detailed cockpit and all of this for only some euro´s

Well done CL! One of my favorite Russian planes. They were called Flying Sewing Machines and with Russian women pilots, they were called Night Witches I believe. I just love the lines on them. They may be slow and got the job done but they sure scared & frustrated the heck out of the Germans during the war.

Man that looks real sharp! The paint scheme, the rigging, the weathering, all look super!

thanks for all kind comments. This was my favorit marking too, but there is one more in my stash, the older Gavia kit with Eduard PE and more and different camo versions, but it is a little bit more work.

A quick question Cherrylock, I would guess the special blue color underneath is called "Russian Blue"
What paint (or mix) did you use for the blue ?

Kari you are right it is a mix of Revell Enamel: white+49 (RLM 76)+Revell 50

as a good reference and a good side for russian WW2 plans look at this side
