She has been on the workbench for a while waiting for paint but I figured I'd catch y'all up to speed. It is an OOB build, any added details will be scratch built.
Here is the cockpit, painted with MM Acrylics with a enamel wash. Details added were the lower ejection pull handles and "Remove Before Flight" Tags. The kit detail was already pretty darn good. All it needed was some paint, a wash, and a light drybrushing to make those details pop.

That's a good start! I'd be happy with that interior. It looks great!

Here are shots of the fuselage assembly. There were a few areas that required some putty, mainly the nose.I also rescribed any lost panel lines. The black areas around the puttied areas is black Sharpie. I use a technique where I find any areas or seams that need to be filled, I color that area with a black sharpie. The Sharpie really helps the affected area show up. It also helps with sanding by showing any low points. Once I putty the area and it dries. I sand the affected area, If I start to see black after sanding then I know to stop.

That is a great tip for using the black Sharpie. I think I learned that many years ago but forgot it. Now that explains why I have several on my workbench...

Way to go Harley!

I quit using Sharpies on my models as soon as i realized that the damn stuff would bleed through both a layer of primer and paint. What do you do to solve that issue? I saw a guy just recently who tried to do a "pre-shade" of panel lines with a Sharpie; he experienced the same problem that I did, the black bled through all layers and he ended up with purple panel lines on a grey aircraft.

Yikes! Sharpie markers and paint on kit don't play nice. There is one thing you could try: wipe with Wet Ones. They work getting permanent marker marks of my hands. Figured it's worth a shot since it's not primed yet.

I guess that is similar to using duct tape for a NMF finish. I did that once, not the duct tape but the sharpie, and never ventured into that style of modeling since.
