Hey folks!

This is my first attempt on armor since at least two decades and the first in small scale ever. Flyhawk is known for their super detailed pe sets for ships, but since 2014 they dropped out some very nice injection molded armor kits. A great review over at our friends from themodellingnews.com made me itchy to order this box that includes two tiny WWI tanks.

Box with stuff (photo shows sprues for one tank)

That is some small stuff, even for a European cent

Check out the details, oh the details

More to come on this channel. Stay tuned.

Mostrich, welcome to my world!

Yeah, the Flyhawk FT-17 is considered the best ever on the market for /72 scale FT-17's. You picked a great one!

Looking forward to seeing more.

Ha ha, I know this is meant as a joke, but not really far from the truth either!

Lyle, be welcome and take a seat.

Some cleaning up and glueing has been done tonight. Turret and anti tilting device

Stunning details even from beneath. Thinking about an acrylic base for it

Avoided the pe handles and made some out of copper wire. The running gear is only tapped on

Having a blast with this small heap of polymers so far!

Have seen another of Flyhawks tiny tanks while on Wangerooge. Really, the detail offered by this company is sensational. Makes it hard to resist and get a tank in this scale.
Good mouthwatering build here, mate!

Actually, in 1/72 scale.... it's less. More like an inch and three-quarters or so.
