Nice tutorial on the sail, such an important item certainly does make a difference in the final result.

Thanks, P. I immediately painted it with Future before I got to work on it. Gave it a nice billow.
All of those reef points, I tied a knot, cut the line at the knot and then 1/2" or so long tail.
Placed one on each side of the sail, in a spot of CA.
These guys lowered the whole yard to reef the sail, then hoisted it back up. You can see the halyard, it goes back to a cross beam in the stern and includes a couple of blocks. It also functioned as a backstay. I believe every part of this boat was moving relative to the next when under sail.
