Me-109K, Hobbycraft 1/48

Yup, another Hobbycraft 109 :o This one I did a bit of work in the cockpit, adding some detail in there. The canopy hood was short shot so I replaced it with a Squadron vacuform one. Markings are from Aeromaster for a Me-109K that participated in Operation Bodenplatte on New Years Day, 1945.

Nicely gone again Stik. The spiral - decal or paint?

Man, these completed build threads are like crack for me, I keep looking at other people's builds & thinking YES I need to build one of THOSE next... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Thanks... the spiral was a decal... and not very fun to apply IIRC... :?

Thank you Kurfuerst ;) Yes, Hobbycraft makes most of the 109 family in 1/48, except for the Friedrichs.

BeautifuI build Stik with a very interesting subject of "Operation Bodenplatte".
