Another jap on the table, recent acquisition from private vendor (same that gime me other four japs and two other rare kits)

The Sonia was a light dive bomber and reconnaissance plane, i'll build it as second type

Just sprues, this one was part of a combo box









As you can see the wheels are moulded wit a part of gears, will try to ennanche this feature, also thinning the cowling thickness

cut out too many flaps.. the correct is only the central piece as i see after consulting references the two on sides alrerady re-gued in place in the picture

the cockpit floor is already detaild but..

adding more realistic details to the floor and the stratched flap before sanding to correct shape



rear seat ready and pilot seat too, just left a pillow for the pilot

added more pieces to the floor and test with seats

Worked on the flap housing too, the structures must be sanded at the same height

Astounding scratch work. Looks good as does the entire piece of work.

Added more details to the cockpit walls





And the floor, ready for paint session

Also worked on rear gun and belt. used masking tape, copper wire , plastic scraps and stretched sprues

working on the reconnaissance camera







and painted, used revell vinyl glue to simulate the lens, not yet dry in the pictures below







Added platic tubes in the inner of exhausts to improve the dept effect



glued pieces to the fuselages before to close



Some problem with the camera and the radio spacing... some adjust was needed

detailed the inner under floor parts before to glue wing





warned by a friend that is building the same kit i put a spacer under the engine base to avoid propeller/cowling contact !! also some filling in the propeller gaps



wings on, some problem to fix it caused by flap modify







actually glued all main pieces but no time to upload the pictures :(
