On short final, to the bench!

Kit looks quite good already...adding Eduard Big Sin PE & masks, Aires cockpit, Master Model gun barrels, and some Eduard brassin ordnance(w/ more on the way).

Starting???...72nd has dominated the bench for a good 3 years now. I'd say I'm darn near "all in"!!!
I have definitely grown to prefer 72nd...but I still have a sizable 48th stash and a couple few 32nd and a couple 24th stashed as well. Haven't bought anything bigger than 72nd in quite some time!

Welcome to my world. 1/72 scale is all I build in when it comes to aircraft and vehicles. I do feel it is the most fun to do; and you can't beat the display space for them!

I definitely enjoy all aspects of 72nd....size/display space, variety, price. Although, that big Harrier is a nice change of pace!
I'll be crackin this kit out tonight....got a couple deer hangin in the garage that need to be taken care of first though!

I keep going back and forth between 72nd and 48th. Definitely taking a liking to 72nd for the post-war builds.

I agree. That's why I like doing modern jets in 1/72 scale due to their size. A 1/72 scale modern jet would be my "1/48 scale" kit. LOL!

OK...so I lied! Clearing the yard of all the fallen leaves took a lot longer than I expected....and by the time I finished up with the deer...

...I was wore out and too tired....hit the sack, so I could get up early for another hunt. I had four deer stroll through at about 30 yards...easy pickins. They were all yearlings though, and I didn't want to take a little one for #60. I hung up my crossbow and broke out my camera (does not focus well on zoom).

Image

I let them go on by...they bedded down about 40 yards behind me. As far as I'm concerned, that's a good trip to the woods.

Just after they bedded down, I spotted another, headed towards my buddies stand. He didn't see her until it was too late. Then another, coming in behind him...shot my buddy a quick text...."BUCK....behind you!".

Nice little 7 point.

Here's another happy little critter...

Anyway...The Harrier is getting put aside momentarily and the A-10 will be on the bench...today...I promise!!!

Nice. The A-10 should be a lot of fun to watch.
