works on Skyray goes easy
office and seat
the only mod till now, a better seat handle
Inner details about the engine and gear wells walls glued
black and silverwhere needed after primer
After painted inner intakes in white glued the fuselage and pressed with some clip and tape
Nose section paint works
After added weight in the nose glued all the things
and painted canopy frames after sanded the plastic to improve the paint grip
Not so easy on the mig:
two bulkhead added, air intake drilled and a sort of conduct added , also replaced cloches with stretched sprue
paint !
Silver where needed
Office ready
office assembly and in place
under pressure
wings and nose added
and horizontal rudders
lots of improvements (putty sanding.. plastic..) needed!
At the next

Two opposites... one high end, one vintage, interesting pair.

Did the Ford (F4D) instructions say to paint the cockpit tub black.

Also seen on the web almost all other skyray builds shows black inner..
At the end not black/black used, but a mix of black with brack/grey

Interesting. I had not seen any US jets with black cockpits before. Especially from that era..

Someone advice me about a possible grey for inners and walls but too late... I painted and closed the cockpit in the same session :(

Yes, the standard color for US aircraft after the Interioor Green era was Dark Gull Gray. But some Navy types had Black cockpits during the post WWII/Korea era, so that could be the case here... something that I want to look into now. I like color schemes that vary from the usual...
