Revell 1/144 Curtis P-40 Warhawk

After a hiatus in building I picked up where I left and finished this build.

It is an old kit, I can not really recommend it. But is cost me a Euro so it was nice as a diversion. Painting was fine with a hairy stick expect for the final flat coat with an airbrush.
Some small modifications: opened the chin air intake, added machine gun barrels and made a new radio mast with some spare PE.
I went a bit overboard with the weathering but I wanted to try something new with inks. Not really a success but I am calling this one done.

Now that I posted it I am thinking: "where did I put that drop tank?!?"

Looking good Borg. And at least based on the pictures, very difficult to say if you went overboard or not.

And to be honest, no harm made without drop-tank, looks actually more streamlined without the tank in my humble opinion!

That does look pretty good. I like it. I also have a little 1/144 scale Hurricane I might just have to build for fun now,
