Lets start 2017 with something BIG.
The star, or to be more correct, Star Destroyer, is one of my long time favourites I always wanted to model. Of course there are already other models on the market and I thought twice about the question "Revell or Zvezda?"
I decided for the Revell version - its large, but not too big, and although its an easy kit, the detail is very great. The only thing that is a bit strange (due to its "toy" status most probably) is the large gaps you have between the rudders on the lower part and the body.
Nothing serious, this can be repaired with plastic sheet etc.
Im getting a bit lazy on my old days, so I welcome the sound/light module in the kit. The focus of the build will be the paint - there are tons of panely that all cry for "10.000 shades of grey"!!!

If you wonder how big its gonna be - its ca. 40 cm long and 25 cm wide.
