Heres my first new wip of the year : the little italeri cayuse that will be in denmark markings.. in some way i'll try as i don't have the decals




No sprues pictures (i think it's a notorius kit..) and i already started some work, as the rotor assembly and cockpit main pieces .

Going to rotor the kit have wrong spin direction, so i glued it upside down and replaced the control beams with stretched sprue





Glued missing pieces at cockpit



Le cloche assembly , removing ejector pins and copper wire to simulate IP cables



Spreading cables and cut'n'glue in place. Added details to the rotor head. the rotor cap is not needed.





Primer and after black (not pure black) painted
At the windscreen drilled two holes, closed after with plastic strip from inside

After glued side windows with clear glossy vellejo used instead of glue , closed fuselage



Also the windscreen glued with clear glossy




Some rescribbing not yet finished

Stoppel makes an AM decal sheet for Danish cayuses.

One of the best choppers ever built! You are most impressive in your speed and detail work here BSY.
I actually just saw a civil version of one of these flying yesterday. Quite near to where I was and low... not the later MD series with the "T" tail, but an early model like this with the "V" tail. I was surprised to see the type still around, and also had forgotten how much that it still appealed to me over far more modern choppers I see all the time here. A true classic.
