T-34C and T-2C finished

First up is Swords 1/72 T-34C.
My brother gave me this kit some years ago, just after he got out of flight school, and before he got put into the F-18D. Anyway, I started it and I sucked at it...put it away. Fast forward a dozen years and it's done.
For years, my brother had been trying to get permission to bring a plane back home...for a trip or for an airshow. Denied, denied, denied...reason being, is in case something happened. The logistics of getting someone here to fix whatever, blah, blah, blah. Finally, after years of trying, he was able to talk the higher ups into approving a flight home, in combination with "cross country" stick time. So, they make it all the way to Michigan, I hear em on the radio as they approach the area. Didn't hear another word as they worked the pattern (radio had gone out)...on short final, a hawk decided to test the structural integrity of the wind screen...neither faired well!
This pic is just after I parked em...that's my bro in back. You can also see the damage to the wind screen (lower corner).
I'm not overly proud of the job I did on this crappy kit, but at a distance, it aint TOO bad, I guess. I had to scratch a new wind screen and nose gear doors. Had to paint the star-n-bars and cobble together decals from the spares box.
The blue is a bit blown out in the pics, looks closer to the real thing, to the eye.
Now, the Wolfpack T-2C. This is a very nice kit, no real issues. The only addition I did were the seat harnesses and pull rings, I also riveted it. My bro also had some time in the T-2C, but I didn't have the proper spare decals to do one of the ones he has time in. I went with one of the box options.

seriously though those both look great!!! I really like the T-2.
