I always had a soft spot for 50's/60's US NAVY jets and "The Ford" is definitely one of my favourites.
The model, built around 2008, features a CMK cockpit set, Eduard PE and AeroMaster decals.

The AIM-8B Sindewinders were taken from a Hasegawa weapon set.
I wanted to depict my Ford in a rather clean condition, hence applying only subtle weathering effects.

Very nice! How was the kit to build?

Basically, I'd rate it "shake 'n' bake".
Only the tail fin assembly/fuselage spine transition required some sanding dry fitting. Nothing major.

I would love to have a ford in 32 but the $$$$$ is the clincher. This is pretty hot. I like your style.
