I ended up buying a kit the other day from Hobby Lobby that had a die cast Coke machine in it. After thinking of how I was going to mask everything off and paint it up I decided to obtain an adhesive backed vinyl sheet used for sign lettering. It worked perfect. Cut it to fit, applied all the decals and painted the details.

It's not healthy. It has way too much sugar. But man, an ice cold Coke in a glass bottle (!) out of a 50's machine - that's it!
When the sun of culture hangs low even dwarfs throw shadows.
