Model Master made some Italian colors in their Enamel line. And of course there were the old Polly Scale colors as well... Seeing how Italian colors are seldom in high demand, I bet you can still find some on eBay or elsewhere...

When I did my Mc. 202 I did some research and came up with.
Grigio Azzumo Chiaro 1 (Light Blue Grey 1) or FS 36307 Light Sea Grey for the gray underwing
I found the info on.

Thanks guys!
Steve-- I went with your tip and grabbed up the Model Master Acryl Light Sea Gray...here it is after spraying-
The kit really fits well-- and in some cases the fit was so well I nixed using glue on some of the joins-- well done Italeri and whoever did the original molds that Italeri used. Here are some shots before the top coat goes on-
And the best part is-- only two small canopy pieces to mask- my least favorite thing to do

Looking good Mike. The Macchi's are such nice looking planes.

And so it begins...
This shot shows them still damp with Micro Sol but they seem to look pretty nice considering

Nice that they gave smoke ring decals. I would be worried about silvering with my decal skills.

Looking real good so far with those decals.

So cool!
Never touched Italeri´s acrylics. How do they spray?

Probably should've grabbed their thinner while I was at it....they aren't airbrush ready...added a bit of distilled water and that seemed to work...laid down very smoothly.
