It was a quick fun build. Only for practice, and I tired a lot of new technique. I mean new for me. You will not win the ModelShow with this model, but really great for beginers, and for practice.

All sutff what I used are Vallejo. Only acrilycs.

Wow! That sure looks to be one great looking build. My only gripe is that I can only see it via phone screen right now. I'd like to see it on a regular size monitor...

I like the chipping on the wing root. How did you do that?

You don't belive me. With brush. And Vallejo Metal Color.

The procedure; When you finished the base colors, and the fadeing, you have to seal it with varnish. In this case, I used Vallejo satin varnish. Then get an oldish 01 short brush. Pick up the metalic color, pull out the excess, and make a dots. A lot of dots. Perpendicular. Only just a gently touch. When you happy with the results, you have to wait until it's dried. When you use the new Vallejo Acrilyc Metal Color series, it's 10 minutes. After that you can use wash, pigments, wahetver you want. In this case, I used hardly dilluted shepia wash, and European earth pigments.

That's a very well done Spit!
The weathering on the top looks convincing to me, the bottom's a tad overdone for my taste. The black streaks do have a harsh contrast, but as always it can be the pictures that fool my eyes.

Thak you for your good words. I don't think this is overdone. Here is the picutres. Maybe next time, I must to use more brown-oil-something. And please don't forget Sir, this is only a practice.

Yes, the centerline undersides of Spits could get quite dirty! Good job pulling that off.

Now I'm seeing it on a regular size monitor screen. It's still looks mighty fine to me, but now looks more small scale as opposed to a larger scale kit. Nothing that can be done to change that aspect.

Thank you Sir! I have to try make this weathering style more gently next time. Maybe this illusion will disappear.
