Hello,
Just found a ICM Seehund, that Id like to make a bit rusty - something like that:
Theres not many parts in the kit, so the assembly should be quite easy. Because of sanding, the weldings on the upper hull have to be recreated - I did it with Tamiya tape and Perfect Plastic Putty.

On this, the finishing process will be the fun part...

Exactly what Im thinking Stik - easy to assemble, main focus on the painting/weathering.

Many thanks all!
Well then... the painting fun can begin.
Bruce - PPP is really great. I was a bit sceptic first, most putties have at least one disadvantage (some shrink, some stink, some are just strange). This stuff is water based, doesnt stink & shrink and is easy to use - in case you used a bit too much use a wet finger and/or brush... thats it. Very easy to handle. And it dries quite fast.

BTW, very interesting documentation about "fishing out" a Seehund wreck in front of the Dutch coast:

Hehehe. Grey primer is already on (nothing too spectacular). Nevertheless two figures are painted, those come from Revell (German Navy Crew, #02525).

If somebody says
'submarine' I'm forced to ask
'where, where?'.
Now here it is and it's a neat one. Me also likes the welding approach.
Weitermachen, Bootsmann!
