10 years??? Reminds me to my 1/16 Tamiya Tiger I... :headslap:

That´s a bright and colourful finish, even in this scale. The silver is looking like polished chrome! Is there a gloss coat over all the paint? What a sparkle!

I also like your pictures with the scenic background! Very cool! I wonder how your set-up looks like.

Well, thanks for responding.
The shiny, chrome effect is exactly what I wanted to generate. This Mustang should be a post-war
polished war bird. I used Vallejo Metal Color “Chrome”. I can really recommend these new colors by
Vallejo. They are easy to apply and you don’t need any sealers for masking. After painting and
decaling my Mustang, I applied some pledge (future) and I got what u see.
My photo set up consists of a base (beaverboard), which is set in front of a clamped poster print. In
this case I used the one with a Wuppertal motive. The poster is clamped half a meter behind the
base to get some distance and to avoid any unwanted shades. All those items were arranged outside
onto the garden table.
The photos with the environment in the background were taken from a low perspective with one or
more meters between smartphone camera and target. The objective was to have my Mustang and
background details sharp.
Hope that makes sense. I would use my Canon EOS 600D, but then I always struggle with picture
balance and color intensities.

Danke! From which part of Wuppertal your background picture may be taken, it´s not the Varresbeck area I used to visit! :quotes:
No worries on your pictures: these are very good! :beau:

Long in gestation, but the end result is certainly worth the wait. Fabulous! :shoutout:

What a magnificent model, especially after such a long time. Good things come to those who wait and work for the best results
