Portman, glad you are back. I just started my submission for this group build myself. I was hoping for a nice, simple, easy build, but I forgot it's a Special Hobby kit! You'll see when I can get some pics posted. Stay tuned.

Wish in one hand and crap in the other... see which one fills first....

We can hope and wait for new tool kits from our favorite companies, or build the only game in town if we want that gap in the collection filled now.

Wow! Sounds like the three of you have a few stories... :giggles:

PS. Stuart, I am researching which Huey as well. Just wish a clear choice was present. I want to ease into this project and have fun with it, so that keeps the HobbyBoss UH-1C on the list. It’s the cockpit that seems so wonky to me. I wonder if I can build it out of the box without messing around with adding aftermarket to it.

Bruce - I'd love to see you do an OOB lol - betcha can't do it :yipee:

Stik and Duke - Yeah it's great that they do these little known types, but good god that mk.X spit I did was a chore. It looked nice in the end but it was THE worst kit I've ever built!

Yes I’ve read similar things about the 1/48 Modelcraft F-82 Twin Mustangs. But if you want to add that historically significant aircraft to your 1/48 aircraft collection, it’s the only game in town. I have yet to read one build review of that kit saying anything praising that kit.

I have been lurking the last few months. But I am still committed to this GB. When I have finished the Bat I will start.
