New bust on the bench. It consists of three parts only (choice of two heads), the mold is a dream and everything fits just beatifully - so you can directly start to paint.

After a black priming from the rattle can I started with a reddish brown, which was followed by thin layers of a more leather looking brown. Shadows are painted with AK dark brown wash as usual when I do my figure painting.

You're off to a fine start with the leather so far.

Thank you.

The face is finished so far, it was painted with acrylics, AK enamel wash (very helpful!) and a little bit of clear gloss for the eyes. Small parts will follow next (buckles, straps and some leather effects etc.)

another very nice work in progress on busts. I have never done these kinds of work before. must have been different than working on 1/35 scale figures. the details is at a different level
