A long long time ago...
I got a small X-Wing as a present and asked myself how I build it up The X-Wing itself only? Nah... there has to be a little surrounding. So I decided to do this:
Gonna give it a try.

Welcome aboard, rumbling jungle man!!
The Force is strong with you.
The scene is a mix of fantasy with science fiction.
It feels... poetic.
The image looks serenely imbued with the living Force.
The soft light, the luxurious colors are incredibly vibrant.
The jungle slowly consumes the wreckage of the X-Wing.
This is gonna be amazing!!!!
Are you gonna add the water/creek in the foreground?
The fella who painted that is here:

Just in case you want to show him the final result.
Will you add the screen of foliage at the rear or for diorama purposes will you keep all sides open for viewing?
Excited!!

Thanks for the link, Im gonna keep that in mind. The dio will be base only because the wings will be partly outside of the base (looks more dyamic).

...and so the base building starts. A good project to use my left over jungle pack laser cut plants and such.
Yes, the pond in front will be recreated too!

That already looks incredible; the landscape contouring looks natural and creates a depression for the downed ship to come to rest. I just saw a photo of a wrecked P-38 in pieces up in Alaska. I should have pulled it down online because the high grass was effectively covering up these massive metal chunks and the serenity of the landscape — the intensity of raw lands where there are no other signs of civilization — reminded me strongly of your project. Great job.
EDIT
Apologies for the low resolutions on these. Search “P-38 Attu Island Akaska”
