So far, this kit is alright...on the outside. The inside is severely lacking in detail. Eduard PE and some fine wires help out up front, but there is nothing for the cabin area, other than the floor.
Got the office finished up...not sure yet, exactly what route I'm going to go for the rear.
That's all for now.

Still on my list to get and not build. I've been wondering when we'd see this on your bench. I'm excited. Sent you a PM, too.

You could always put a bunch of these guys in the back....

NO!!!!
I am for sure going to have to scratch the crew chiefs "jump seats", and at least some of the soundproof padding. The side crew door will be open, so the front of the cabin will be visible. With the ramp down too...everything is fairly visible. It will be a LOT of PITA work to scratch all the padding and seats. So...I'm kinda thinking of loading a couple pallets of crates toward the front and rear, to hide the lack of detail in the midsection. All the detail on the sidewalls above the ramp will have to be scratched in as well.

Well you could always throw some kind of vehicle in the back. A jeep, landrover, or if you want to get really wicked, a raft/zodiac type boat... HMMWVs are just a tad too big to fit inside easily, so that’s why those are usually sling loaded...

I got the go-ahead from the customer, to go with some crates. He said that his buddy(who will end up with this build) said most of their missions were haulin beans and bullets.
Goin with something along these lines...

Cases of MRE’s... so yummy...
I’m curious to see how you do the interior insulation padding...

I started work on the rear cabin.
Started the padding by scoring thin plastic sheet...I did not like it.
[hmm] [hmm]
I remembered some PE mesh that I have...some aluminum foil, burnished down over the mesh with a q-tip did the trick!!!
The pattern looks pretty good to me. It's not particularly accurate in its application, but looks better than what the kit gives! For what little will be seen, I think this will "pass".

I like that idea!

I will have to try it on a few choppers in my stash that need the same upgrade...

Wow... that is a really neat idea. I think the padding looks great!
