I started on the decals, a few went fine but a few folded. They are from 1986 (I was 7 then!) so that was to be expected. I have got some spares so I am not that worried about that.

That is surprising that those decals worked, even if a couple did fold.

'86 was a good year! Those are definitely some hardy decals. I've had some fold before too. I just place them back in the water and most of the time they unfold on their own. I then slide them back on a piece pf backing paper and start again. Sometimes I have to try and manipulate them in the water with a brush or two. Once unfolded again, I do the backing paper thing again.

Looking forward to seeing this in markings.

Decals are on (finally). They have been sealed with Future so I can proceed with a wash. All in all the decals where quite good: only one folded as described earlier. I thought that was going to be the case for others. But I cried wolf to soon. They also reacted good on the setting solution.
