Hey, whatever floats ya plane - lol!
That's looking nice, I like how you managed to shade that uniform scheme. Plus you avoided giving the panellines a dark wash.
The way you did it looks very balanced. Maybe some daylight pics would do your little gem justice.

I'll try for that tomorrow. Right now the wind is blowing about 30mph and it is -8 with windchill

May not be familiar with Japanese aircraft, but I can tell great craftsmanship when I see it and this is really great.
