Exceptional work MC! You are braver than me adding the HF whip antennas now; I usually wait till almost the end because I invariably break them off in construction.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you to all who are watching.
Not an update regarding the kit, but I painted the base and added the acrylic varnish. the next step is the cotton wake and setting the hull. That will happen when I complete the ship.

Very interesting to follow this!

(sorry jumping out of the ship-topic... but do I see in the background a Fw 190 ? )

MC, brilliant work on that water so far. I also like the looks of the Dora in the background. I'm glad you are keeping busy this way; keep them coming man! I'll try to keep up!

Thank you Duke!
Did some PE work this morning.

Image

They don't look this small on the instructions! I lost (to easy to do) one of the center poles and replaced it with some streached sprue.

I'll do a little more today and distract myself with a diffrent build for the rest of the day.

Man, I know what you mean about these tiny P/E pieces. I looked at more than a few of them on my Baku, incredulously wondering exactly how they expected me to assemble them. Needless to say, they are still on the sprue...

Your work looks great so far. Congrats on getting those pieces assembled.
