Hi all,

After the agro I've been having with clear coats recently I decided to take Stik's advice and try something different, and being inspired by spending the last hour or so playing Scalextric with my Son - I ordered this off Amazon tonight and hopefully it should be with me a few days.



Not the most exciting of cars, BUT, it was the cheapest car kit I could find, which, as I've NEVER built one before struck me as a good idea. Besides, I've been meaning to have a go with an auto build for quite some time - this is a good excuse as any.

Looking forward to it arriving.

Those are really useful actually - Thanks for digging them up. As this is my first auto build I might skip the two tone scheme this time around and go for a single colour.

Yeah not really a TR6 but a Triumph none the less. It should be a pretty basic kit, I would suspect it was tooled in the 60's.

I did not know that Triumph made such cars. My dad always had roadsters when I was a little kid: Triumphs, MGs, Fiats... and a few biker friends of mine had Triumph bikes... I just never associated them with an everyday car like this one...

When I was kid, one of our neighbours had exactly a same Triumph, it was white. As a kid it felt "nice sized", I could easily sit on the backset.... but I guess that would not be the case any longer..

Pro Street! Go for it!! I haven't seen a whole lotta hot rod stuff in 1/32nd scale though.
