1:48 Dassault Mirage IIIB

it is a old Heller Kit from 1979 with som PE parts for the seat and a different marking for CES Istres

She looks most elegant! Shiny and bright with those high visibility markings.

And now the build questions: how does this one go together? I have the high tech issue and the basic release with an Eduard PE set in my stash, so your assessment will be most helpful.

it is not easy. have had lot of filler and grinding, but you see it is possible to build, bad fit and silver paint is a tricky combination, for a Mirage IIIC never would buy a Heller, but for the double seater I must do it.

Thanks for that. I usually avoid the bare metal aircraft finish when I can. And the two I have will definitely be in camo paint, not silver.
And yes, for a 1/48 Mirage IIIB, I do believe that the Heller kit is still the only game in town.
